Develop and IDOT pay item list and calculate quantities. Provide information to <br /> MMA for inclusion into their summary of quantities. Assist in the preparation of <br /> the project estimate of cost. <br /> 10. Develop project specifications for civil work using IDOT format. Reference the <br /> current Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction including the <br /> Supplemental Specifications and Recurring Special Provisions. <br /> a. For all unit price items <br /> b. For construction staging <br /> c. For incentives, schedule and liquidated damages <br /> 11. Coordination with City <br /> a. Telephone/correspondence <br /> b. Phase II meetings (assume 10) <br /> c. Phase III coordination(assume 50 hours to answer questions and address <br /> field changes. <br /> 12. Coordination with MMA <br /> a. Telephone/correspondence regarding plan packaging, specifications and <br /> overall scope division. <br /> 13. Bidding assistance <br /> a. Answer questions from contractors <br /> b. Prepare addendums <br /> i. Addendums due to changes requested by the City will be <br /> considered extra work. <br /> c. Coordinate with Massie to review bids and offer recommendations <br /> 14. Electrical and lighting scope is attached. Lighting design and plans shall be <br /> prepared by Architectural Expressions, LLP (AEX). AEX shall design the <br /> lighting to meet or exceed existing lighting levels or as approved by the City. <br /> 15. Deliverables: Chastain will provide the following deliverables relating to the civil <br /> roadway improvements to MMA. MMA is responsible for assembling the various <br /> plan sheets into a set of construction plans, developing the front end documents <br /> for bidding, assembling various pay item special provisions into a set of special <br /> provisions for construction, coordinating sheet numbers, general notes, summary <br /> of quantities and overall packaging of the plans and special provisions. <br /> a. All Plan sheets will be submitted to MMA in PDF format only. <br /> b. All work will be prepared based on IDOT unit price pay items for <br /> construction. <br /> c.
