Anderson Plaza <br /> Decatur, IL 62523 <br /> Re: Proposal for Decatur Downtown Streetscape & Openspace Enhancements <br /> Water Street Phase I & II <br /> Dear Mr. Marley, <br /> Thank you for allowing PWC Engineering the opportunity to provide the City with engineering <br /> and surveying services for the Decatur Downtown Streetscape and Openspace Enhancements <br /> Project. <br /> We have estimated the hours and fees detailing our professional services for the following <br /> scope of work (exhibit A). <br /> Utility Coordination <br /> This work consists of coordination with affected utilities within the project limits to determine <br /> the impacts to their facilities. Utilities include; storm sewer, sanitary sewer, water main, power <br /> lines, communication lines and gas lines. This work includes field inspection,LU.L.I.E. locate <br /> coordination, record drawing review, and construction conflict assistance. <br /> Topographic Surveys <br /> This work consists of the collection of topographic data for the preparation of construction <br /> plans for the proposed improvements. Conventional surveys will be performed on all areas <br /> within the construction limits. Building sub-surface inspections will be performed. The 300 <br /> Block of North Main Street will be surveyed so that the proposed parking facility can be <br /> designed and a subdivision can be prepared. A topographic survey of Central Park will be <br /> performed for a later design. Field checks will be performed to verify completeness of the <br /> surveys. Street pavement and sidewalk evaluations will be performed. Storm sewer inlets and <br /> manholes will be evaluated for condition (no hydraulic analysis will be performed). <br /> Plans &Specifications <br /> This work consists of the preparation of plans, specifications and estimates for the <br /> improvements.
