Proposal for Decatur Downtown Streetscape&Openspace Enhancements—Water Street Phase I&II <br /> Page 2 of 2 <br /> Proiect Management &Administration <br /> This work consists of assisting the City with the bidding process, including correspondence <br /> relating to bidding questions, reviewing and tabulating bids and preparation of a written <br /> recommendation to the City Council for award of the project. Also, preparation, attendance <br /> and documentation of meetings with the City. Last, managing staff, preparing project files and <br /> invoicing for services. <br /> Sub Consultant Design Services <br /> This work consists of electrical design services provided by Architectural Expressions, LLP (see <br /> sub consultant itemized list of tasks for each phase of the project). <br /> This work also consists of any necessary sub-surface foundation and structural design. Since <br /> the extent of this work is not yet known,this item is shown as a reimbursable expense and will <br /> be billed on a time and material basis. An estimated cost is provided in the proposal. <br /> Services not included <br /> 1. The need for boundary surveys and/or easements (with the exception of the 300 Block) are <br /> not anticipated, therefore no time has been included in this estimate. <br /> 2. Any additional surveying arising from subsurface exploration (potholing, borings, etc.). <br /> 3. Work arising from environmental hazards and/or site remediation. <br /> 4. The preparation of documents for alternate bids. <br /> Our proposal is for an estimated contract amount of$354,238.43 (Phase I & II combined). A <br /> spreadsheet is enclosed providing additional cost breakdowns for the tasks associated with the <br /> work to be performed. I have attached 2 copies of the City of Decatur Professional Engineering <br /> Services Agreement.
