Dunn Company provided the lowest responsible <br /> bid at 12.87% above the engineer's estimate. Prices for asphalt were bid higher than <br /> expected because this project will use less quantity of asphalt than what the City usually <br /> deals with and less quantity typically equates to higher prices. Dunn Company has <br /> successfully cornpleted many jobs for the City. Following approval of the Mayor and <br /> City Council, Dunn Com�any will be notified to proceed following a preconstruction <br /> meeting. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTIONS: There are no known objections to this resolution and <br /> bid award. <br /> INPUT FROM THER R : arnson anagement oup, <br /> SCHEDULE: Following approval of the contract by the City Council, work on this <br /> project shall begin after a "Notice to Proceed" has been issued from the City.
