G. Conflict of interest <br /> Decatur Industrial Electric certifies that to the best of its knowledge, no employee, <br /> agent, officer or director of the City is interested in this Agreement or has any pecuniary <br /> interest in Decatur Industrial Electric or this Agreement, and that no person associated <br /> with Decatur Industrial Electric has any interest that would conflict in any manner or <br /> degree with the performance of this Agreement. <br /> H. Indemnity and Hold Harmless <br /> Decatur Industrial Electric shall indemnify, defend, save and hold harmless the City, its <br /> officers, employees, directors and agents, in both their individual and official capacities, <br /> from any and all liability, losses, attorneys' fees or other costs of defense, expenses, <br /> demands, claims, damages, proceedings or causes of action of any kind or nature, <br /> including but not limited to those pertaining to any federal or state environmental <br /> statutes or regulations that the City may suffer, incur, sustain or become liable for due <br /> to any injury to, or death of, any person or damage to any real or personal property, in <br /> any way resulting from or arising out of Decatur Industrial Electric' performance of its <br /> duties and obligations under this Agreement. <br /> I. Insurance <br /> Decatur Industrial Electric shall obtain and carry, and have in effect at all times during <br /> the performance of any and all work under this Agreement, comprehensive general <br /> liability and property damage insurance in an amount of not less than $1,000,000 single <br /> limit, $2,000,000 aggregate,for bodily injury, death and property damage t o any one <br /> person and subject to the same limitations for any one occurrence. The comprehensive <br /> general liability shall include coverage for premises and operations, a blanket <br /> contractual liability coverage which includes the indemnification agreement, broad form <br /> property damage, independent contractors and personal injury liability coverage. The <br /> policy issued for the above policies of insurance with the following coverages and <br /> naming the City as an additional insured,to the extent of Siemen's indemnity <br /> commitment. Such insurance shall not be cancelled prior to the completion of this <br /> Agreement. <br /> J. Certificate of Insurance. <br /> Prior to the commencement of the terms of this Agreement, Decatur Industrial Electric <br /> shall file with the City, and at all times thereafter during the term of this Agreement, <br /> keep in full force and effect, a Certificate of Insurance, signed by an authorized agent of <br /> the insurance company or companies writing the insurance described in said Certificate <br /> showing complete coverage of all insurance required in this Agreement.
