Request for Honorary Street Sign for Officer Robin <br /> Vogel from parents, Bob and Marilyn Cisowski <br /> Decatur City Council: <br /> On October 3, 2005, our daughter, Officer Robin Vogel, lost her <br /> life due to a drunk driver running a red light and hitting her squad <br /> car while she was on duty on October 1 , 2005. <br /> Since that time our daughter, Suzie Brown, has been trying to <br /> have a memorial in Robin's honor. She has suggested a statue <br /> to be placed at the police department and a street named for <br /> Robin. <br /> It is our understanding that the street naming process has been approved. <br /> We would very much appreciate a street named for Robin as a tribute to <br /> her service as a police officer for the city of Decatur. <br /> Thank you, <br /> Bob and Marilyn Cisowski <br />
