RESOLUTION NO. R2010-172 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING PRICE QUOTE AND AUTHORIZING A CONTRACT WITH INSITUFORM TECHNOLOGIES USA, INC. FOR GARFIELD AVENUE WATER MAIN REPAIR BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That the proposal presented to the Council herewith from Insituform �� Technologies USA for the Garfield Avenue Water Main Repair be, and the same is hereby, received, placed on file, and approved. Section 2. That the quote of Insituform Technologies USA, Inc., be accepted and a contract awarded accordingly and that said contract between the City of Decatur and Insituform Technologies USA, Inc. is hereby modified, so that as modified, said plan authorizes a Contingency in an amount not to exceed $15,000 for a total amount not to exceed $165,675.00. Section 3. That the changes in the above-described agreements are germane to said contract, as signed and such changes are in the best interest of the City of Decatur and are authorized by law Section 4. That the City Manager is directed to negotiate and the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they are hereby autharized and directed to execute a contract between the City of Decatur, Illinois, and Insituform Technologies USA, Inc., for said plan for their proposal of $150,675 plus contingencies in the amount of $15,000 for a total not to exceed cost of $1 E5,675.00.
