• amaking connections
Critical Success Factors
Given the importance of delivering a high-quality product that meets Decatur's goals, there are two key
factors that can significantly impact the project's success.
The first success factor is scope control. Iona and Decatur must work closely to keep the presentations'
content and functionality tied to the business objectives outlined in this document. This includes avoiding
adding additional functionality beyond what is possible within the overall budget parameters that have
been set.
The second critical success factor involves timely delivery of Decatur supplied materials and information
as well as signoff on key decisions. Delays by either Iona or Decatur will significantly impact the project
timeline.
Proiect Investment Summarv
Based on similar projects of scope and effort,Iona will complete the Define and Design phases for
$20,000.These fees are based on discussions with Decatur and Iona's assessment of the work effort,
project requirements and success criteria. Our fees are based on Iona's understanding of the scope and
complexity and on delivering learning that is of the highest quality.
BillinE and Pavment Terms
The overall project investment is$20,000. An initial invoice equal to one-half($10,000)of the project
investment will be issued upon Decatur signing this arrangement letter. The final one-half($10,000)will
be billed upon delivery of the final Design phase deliverables.
Payment terms will be Net 30 from the date of invoice. Iona reserves the right to charge a 1.5%monthly
fee on payments not received within 30 days of invoice.
The Iona Group production deadlines are contingent upon the timely delivery of client supplied materials
and/or the absence of client requested project revisions.Any delay caused by untimely client supplied
materials and/or client requested revisions may result in a revised production schedule. Project related
materials identified under the Task/Milestone exhibit as a client deliverable will be acknowledged upon
receipt by The Iona Group, with the express understanding that any delay caused by the untimely delivery
of assets by the client shall entitle The Iona Group to extend its performance deadline. Client requested
revisions subsequently agreed to between the parties shall create a presumption of an extended deadline
unless otherwise expressly agreed to in writing at the time the revision is agreed upon.
Client requested changes to the course content or flow may be cause for additional cost.Additional cost
will be presented as a change order and must be signed by Decatur before proceeding with the project.
We are excited to partner with Decatur to define and design, and eventually develop the Transfer House
interactive exhibit. If you have any questions or would like to discuss this arrangement letter, please do
not hesitate to contact Jeff Idleman at(309)263-4662.
Decatur Transfer House Design Arrangement Letter -5- May 2010
