General Construction Consultation Services: The funding previously approved by the <br /> City Council to enable URS to provide assistance to the City during the construction of <br /> the streetscape improvements has been expended. It is proposed that $8,563 in additional <br /> funding be authorized to assist the City through the remainder of the project. <br /> 3. Previous Street Lighting Design Costs: During the original street lighting design process, <br /> URS exceeded their approved fee due in large measure to significant questions and <br /> design changes required during the IDOT review process. These costs amounted to <br /> $9,125 and have been left outstanding. <br /> The total costs to perform the street lighting review for IDOT and the past and future design and <br /> consultation fees is $23,590. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTION: There are no known objections to this resolution. <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: Illinois Department of Transportation, URS Corporation <br /> STAFF REFERENCE: Richard G. Richard Marley and Greg <br /> Crowe will be in attendance at the City Council meeting to answer any questions of the Council <br /> on this item. <br /> BUDGET/TIME IMPLICATIONS: <br /> Budget Impact: Design and consultation costs are $23,590 and will be drawn from the Capital <br /> Projects Fund. At present, approximately$75,000 in Eldorado Enhancement ITEP funds remain <br /> unspent, these funds will be used along with a 20% City match if additional lighting <br /> improvements are required. <br /> Stat�ing Impact: Stafftime has been allocated for managing the Project. <br /> This Memorandum was prepared by Matthew C.
