STAFF REFERENCE: Richard Marley, Public Works Director and Matt Newell, City <br /> Engineer. Richard Marley will be in attendance at the City Council meeting to answer any <br /> questions of the Council on this item. <br /> BUDGET/TIME IMPLICATIONS: <br /> Budget Impact: Funding for the proposed design work is available in the Motor Fuel Tax Fund. <br /> The agreement is for$55,200 with provision that the Council will appropriate additional funds if <br /> needed to cover the City's portion of the project. <br /> Staffing Impact: The Illinois Department of Transportation will manage this project. There <br /> will be limited City staffinvolvement. The project is tentatively planned for a June 11, 2010 <br /> State letting which means construction should begin in the late summer or early fall of this year <br /> and continue into 2011. <br /> This memorandum was prepared by Matthew C.
