Three bids were received ranging from $2,588,000 tu $3,147,300. The engineer's estimate for <br /> this project �vas $2,425,850. <br /> The low bidcier is Landmark Structures based out of Pc�rt Worth, Te�as. This company specializes in constructing <br /> compasite water towers. During the design phase of the pmject, Landmark came to Decatur and made a presentation to <br /> city staff and us covering their means and methods of canstruction. <br /> I have contacted the project engineers fmm two recent l.andmark projects, one in Brunswick MD, and the other in <br /> C:de►s,NC. Qoth of these water towers ���ere 1,000,000 gallons, the same size as Decatur's. Each project was completed <br /> within the allocated timeframe.
