Keith Alexander <br /> and Richard Marley will be in attendance at the City Council meeting to answer any questions of the <br /> Council on this item. <br /> BUDGET/TIME IMPLICATIONS: <br /> Budget Impact: <br /> If approved for a loan through the Public Water Supply Loan Program, all contractor payments will <br /> be paid by the State with no funds being paid directly by the City. Loan repayment will not typically <br /> begin until6 months after completion of the MLK Water Main and South Elevated Tank projects. <br /> Repayment should begin in 2012. Funding for the loan repayment is currently allocated in the City's <br /> Water Operating Fund. It is expected that the loan repayment schedule will be$375,000 per year for <br /> 20 years. <br /> The proposed loan covers engineering and construction costs associated with the construction ofthe <br /> South Elevated Water Storage Tank, Booster Pump Station, and the Water Distribution Main from <br /> the South Water Treatment Plant (SWTP)to the City's elevated water tanks on East Garfield and <br /> West Division. <br /> Staffing Impact: <br /> Following Council approval, the City Manager will issue a "Notice of Intent to Award" letter to each <br /> contractor.
