PARTI <br /> TSI RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> A. PROJECT DE3CRIPTION <br /> The project is described as foliows: <br /> A comprehensive investigation, inspection, and assessm�nt of each sanitary sewer <br /> manhole in the City of Decatur in accordance with the Manhole Assessment and <br /> Certification Program(MACP), as established by the National Assoeiation of Sewer <br /> Senrice Companies(NASSCO). The NASSCO compliant investigation will include <br /> obtaining all data required to evaluate each manhole for structural integrity, inflow and <br /> inflltration problems, flow characteristics, and environmental conditions, including all <br /> necessary dimensions. <br /> MACP data will be collected and dinectly entered into an ESRI GIS Geodatabase.The <br /> information gathered will include detailed MACP-compliant attributes and a video <br /> inspection. A!t video footage will foltow a naming convention corresponding to the City if <br /> Decatur GIS pipe identification field. This will allow the archived video to be linked to the <br /> City's sewer pipe segments in the City of Decatur GIS. <br /> This Professional Service Agreement is for 1year, fiscal year 2009-2010. <br /> B. SCQPE OF WORK <br /> Services to be provided for the Project are as follows: <br /> PRECAUTIONARY 8�SAFETY PROCEDURES <br /> 1. Traffic conVol and protection for the project shall be in accordance with I.D.O.T. <br /> Highway Standard 701606.01. Daytime operations are proposed for the work. ' <br /> 2. Alf physical/viSuaf investigations of each manhole witl utilize all necessary safety <br /> and precautionary equipment as specified by OSHA standards. <br /> MANHOLE VIDEO ACQUISITtON <br /> 1. A color television Manhole lite-Stick will assist in the Manhole investigation. This <br /> confined space inspection camera provides high quality video and can inspect <br /> the confined space/entry. Full colaNinfrared video module design allows <br /> inspection with low wattage LED lighting using a 92-degree lens. <br /> 2. The video inspection shall include: <br /> a. A view from the top of the manhole with the top of the video screen to the north, <br /> looking dawn in such a manner as to show the construction of the manhole and <br /> the base of the structure. <br /> b. A view of each pipe entry. <br /> c. Notation of any problems found during the inspection. <br /> d. �deo name will be the same as the GIS pipe ID number. <br /> 2 <br />
