Marley, P.E., Director of Public Works �,�.C�..--� t' u2`�'� <br /> �� <br /> SUBJECT: Lincoln Park Drive Slope Failure Repair, City Project 08-12 <br /> SUMMARY RECOMMENDATION: <br /> It is recommended by staff that the City Council reject all bids for Lincoln Park Drive Slope <br /> Failure Repair, City Project OS-12. <br /> BACKGROUND: <br /> Prior Council Action <br /> • June 16, 2008—The City Council was informed of the slope failure with a "Green Sheet <br /> Memo" <br /> • October 20, 2008—The City Council tabled a resolution to authorize an agreement with <br /> SKS Engineers to design the work to repair the slope failure on Lincoln Park Drive <br /> pending an agreement with the Decatur Park District to participate in the repair. <br /> • November 3, 2008—The City Council tabled a resolution to authorize an agreement with <br /> SKS Engineers to design the work to repair the slope failure on Lincoln Park Drive <br /> pending an agreement with the Decatur Park District to participate in the repair. <br /> • November 17, 2008—The City Council tabled a resolution to authorize an agreement <br /> with SKS Engineers to design the work to repair the slope failure on Lincoln Park Drive <br /> pending an agreement with the Decatur Park District to participate in the repair. <br /> • December 1, 2008—The City Council approved Resolution R2008-221 authorizing an <br /> agreement with SKS Engineers for the design of the Lincoln Park Drive Slope Failure <br /> Repair. Council was notified that an informal agreement had been reached with the <br /> Decatur Park District to share in the engineering costs and provide up to $50,000 toward <br /> the slope repair. <br /> Page � 1 <br />
