� <br /> . <br /> r <br /> Barr and Robison Sewer& Excavating, Inc. is in compliance with the City's Responsible Bidder's <br /> Ordinance and has complied with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act for many years. Barr and <br /> Robison provided the lowest responsible bid for the proposed work and has successfully completed <br /> many projects of this type for the City. Staffrecommends that the City Council approve a contract <br /> with Barr and Robison Sewer&Excavating, Inc. to perform the 2009 Miscellaneous Sanitary <br /> Sewer Improvement Project. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTION: There are no known objections to this resolution. <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: None <br /> STAFF REFERENCE: Richard Marley, Director of Public Works and Matt Newell, City <br /> Engineer. Richard Marley will be in attendance at the City Council meeting to answer any <br /> questions of the Council on this item. <br /> BUDGET/TIME IMPLICATIONS: <br /> Budget Impact: Funding for this project is currently allocated in the Sewer Fund. The <br /> recommended low bid amount is $498,766. <br /> Staff Impact: The Capital Improvement Plan has allocated stafftime for this project. The project <br /> will begin within 10 days and be completed by June, 2010. <br /> This memorandum was prepared by Matthew C.
