DRIVE AND COUNTR�' CLUB ROAD IN DECATUR, <br /> MACON COUNTY, ILLINOIS, BETWEEN THE CITY OF DECATUR AND THE <br /> COUNT�' OF MACON, ILLINOIS <br /> RESOLUTION NO. H-1659-6-09 <br /> WHEIYEA�, the County ot Macon, State of Illinois, is desirous of designing and making <br /> im�r�uves.�ents to Macon County Highway 50, Lost Bridge �Road between Lake Shore Drive and <br /> C�euntry Club Road, which passes through the City of Decatur; and <br /> V�✓'HEREAS, the County of Macon intends to implement the highway improvement an� desires <br /> �that the City of�Decatur contribute to the cost of certain portions of improvements; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Decatur is desirous of contributing to the cost of certain portions of the <br /> improvements; and <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Macon is a body politic and corporate in the State of Illinois; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Decatur is a public entity of the State af Illinois; <br /> WHEREAS, the 1970 Illinois Constitution, Art. VII, Section 10 and 5 Il�inois Ci�mpiled Statutes �� <br /> 220!3 pruvide authority for intergovernmental co-operation; and <br /> WHFRFAS, the Mayor and the City of Decatur Council believes the improvement to 1�lacon � <br /> CounSy ���gh���ay� 50 ���ithin the Cit�� e�f Dc.catur by the Couniy af Macon tivill be of benefit to the <br /> health, satety and �velfare of the residents of���Wlacon County; Illinois, and � <br /> WHEREAS, the Chairrr�an and Macon County Board believe the improvements to Macon <br /> County Highway 50 and sharing of certain costs with the City of Decatur will benetit the health, <br /> safety and v��elfare of the residents of Macon County, Illinois. <br /> NOV�' THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual agreement contained in this agreement, the <br /> City of Decatur and the County of Macon agree as follows, subject to act�.�al construction costs: <br /> ]. The City of llecatur• agrees to reimburse the County for the costs associated with <br /> the removal and replacement of select curb & gutter on Lost Bridge Road <br /> between Lake Shore Drive and Country Club Road up to a maxitnurn amount of <br /> $475,OOU to cover the construction expenscs above and beyond the amounts <br /> �etailed in item 1. <br />
