The C'ity of Decatur agrees to accept jurisdiction of 1�lacon County Highway 50 <br /> from Lake Shore Drive to CoLintry Club Road constructed in the City of Decatur ! <br /> in order to facilitate future #unding for the improvement of the roadway. � <br /> F. The County of Macon agrees to facilitate and apply for Federal Safety Funding <br /> that will remove or replace approximately 6,000 feet of the existing steel plate i <br /> beam guardrail on Lost Bridge Road from Lake Shore Drive to Country Club <br /> Road. The 2009 construction cost for this work is estimated to be $180,000 � <br /> which future cost will be shared equally by the County and the City. <br /> 7. Both parties hereby agree to execute an addendum to their agreement to transfer <br /> ;aris,�'.icii�:�� c�f t�ie rcaci��-a; evi��ncing th:, :tai:�; af _�ctu�� j�::zs�ic�ior,�� �r���sfer. <br /> The jurisdictional transfer of the roadway shall not be effective until the <br /> I addendum is signed by all parties. <br /> This agreement shall be in full force and effect upon its approval by the City of Decatur <br /> Council, and the Macon County Board and shall inure to the benefit of the City of <br /> Decatur, its successors and assigns, and Macon County until the irnprovements to Macon <br /> County Highway 50 are completed and all related costs therefore are paid or the project is <br /> cancelled. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon the adoption thereof. <br /> PRESENTED, PASSED AND APPROVED THIS llth day of June 2009.
