The Local Agency <br /> Agreement for Jurisdictional Transfer form will be signed and sent to IDOT after construction <br /> is completed. <br /> Past City Council action enabling the improvement of the Garfield Bridge over the Canadian <br /> National Railroad to be funded with"Stimulus Funds" has freed up City Motor Fuel Tax funds <br /> in the Capital Improvement Plan for this proposed work. <br /> The Macon County Highway Department will prepare all plans and specifications for this <br /> project and provide all contract management for the construction work. <br /> The overall project cost is estimated to be $1,150,000 with the City's portion estimated to be <br /> $475,000. The Illinois Department of Transportation requires that the City Council approve the <br /> allocation of Motor Fuel Tax funds for specific projects. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTION: There are no known objections to this resolution. <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: Macon County Highway Department <br /> STAFF REFERENCE: Richard G. Budget Impact: Funding for the City's portion of the Lost Bridge Road Improvement <br /> Project is estimated to be $475,000 and is proposed to be paid with Motor Fuel Tax <br /> Funds. This funding has been made available by reallocating funds to street restoration <br /> that were originally set aside for the Garfield Bridge Rehabilitation project. The Bridge <br /> project is now being built with American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) <br /> funds. <br /> 2.
