R2009-47 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR I <br /> AGREEMENT WITH ILLINOIS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION � <br /> THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE GARFIELD AVENUE BRIDGE <br /> OVER THE CNIC TRACKS I <br /> WHER�AS, this resolution authorizes the City of Decatur to enter into an A reement �I <br /> g , <br /> with the State of Illinois for the Garfield Avenue Bridge Improvement Project, known as State '�, <br /> Section OS-00503-00-BR; and ' <br /> WI�EREAS, in compliance with the aforementioned Agreement, it is necessary for the ��� <br /> City of Decatur to appropriate sufficient funds to pay its share of the cost of said construction <br /> work. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. 1'hat there is hereby appropriated the sum of One Hundred Eighty <br /> Thousand, and 00 cents ($180,000.00) or so much thereof as may be necessary, from any � <br /> money now or hereinafter allotted to the City to pay the cost of the construction and design � <br /> work as described in the Agreement. ' <br /> Section 2. That the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized and �', <br /> directed to sign, seal and attest said Agreements on behalf of the City.
