• 2008 Project Fund — Fund 44 — This ordinance appropriates $4,481,120 for <br /> operating expenses to cover the cost of paying off the letters Olde Towne TIF <br /> letters of credit, payment of the 2008 bond issuance costs and other capital <br /> expenditures for downtown development and Water Fund. Funds for these <br /> expenses came from the 2008 Bond proceeds. The balance of the funds will be '� <br /> spent over the next two fiscal years. <br /> � Mass Transit Capital — Fund 73 — Appropriates $332,400 to cover an additional <br /> bus. Even though we will not actually take delivery of the new buses until next <br /> fiscal year, they have been encumbered against this fiscal year. Grant funds will <br /> cover the cost of the buses. <br /> • Parking System — Fund 77 — Increases the original appropriation by $28,200 to <br /> cover the retroactive pay increase given to the AFSCME employees working in <br /> the department. Funds for this came from the General Fund transfer to the <br /> Parking System Fund. <br /> • Fire Pension Fund — Fund 90 — This ordinance increases the original <br /> appropriation by $25,000 to cover higher than expected pension payments. <br /> Money for the increase will come out of investment income and fund balance. <br /> • Police Pension Fund - Fund 91 — This ordinance increases the original <br /> appropriation by $140,000 to cover the higher than expected pension payments. <br /> Money for the increase will come out of investment income and fund balance. <br /> • Hotel Fund — Fund 98 — Increases the original appropriation by $500 to cover <br /> unexpected paying agents fee for the 2007 General Obligation Note. This note <br /> will be called and paid off in the next fiscal year. <br />
