The 29.1 acre subject site currently contains St. Mary's Hospi�al, Medical Offices, and <br /> parking lots. <br /> 2. In 2002, the subject site was rezoned from R-3 Single Family Residence District and O-1 <br /> Office District to an O-1 PUD Planned Unit Development District for a new office building <br /> and additional parking. It was then rezoned to a Planned Development (PD) in 2003 when <br /> the hospital acquired more property and requested to add more signage. The PD was then <br /> amended in 2007 to allow for emergency room directional signage on the property. <br /> PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br /> 1. The subject petition requests that the PD be amended to include the addition of 4.16 acres to <br /> the west, a new sign on premise, 245 new parking spaces, and a future expansion to the <br /> current facility building. <br /> The proposed new sign has already been installed and the petitio er will be required to pay <br /> double permit fees. The sign is six (6) feet tall with an area of 4 square feet (four (4) foot <br /> by ten (10) foot) and is located 52 feet from the south property 1'ne and 259 feet from the <br /> southeast corner of the cancer Care Center. <br /> 2. The Planned Development expansion will allow St. Mary's t expand its health care <br /> environment which fosters patient focused care, provides far�ily and visitor support, <br />
