P � TO: Honorable Mayor and City Council ', FROM: Steve G , City Manager ' Ron Neu , Finance Director ', SUBJECT: Supplemental Appropriations for Fiscal Year 2007 2008 ' Attached are sixteen supplemental appropriations for fiscal year 007-2008, for funding received or required after passage of the Appropriation Ordin ce, approved July 16, 2007. End of year supplemental appropriations are necessary to t e care of many issues that cannot be foreseen. • Non-Departmental — Fund 10 — This ordinance app opriates $767,100 for expenses related to the cleanup of the ice storm. The City has received $1.1 million from FEMA reimbursements. • Non-Departmental — Fund 10 - This ordinance app opriates an additional $33,648 for carpeting for the first floor and steps in the Civic Center, approved by City Council 10/1/07. • Non-Departmental — Fund 10 — This ordinance ap ropriates $59,626 for expenses related to the Brownfield redevelopment at 73 N. ML King Jr. Drive, approved by City Council on 7/17/06. Reimbursement mes from IEPA. • Non-Departmental — Fund 10 — This ordinance appropr'ates $10,000 to provide additional funds necessary to provide a positive fund ba ance at year-end for the Motor Vehicle Parking Fund. • Lookin� for Lincoln Fund — Fund 11 — This ord nance appropriates an additional $195,000 for Lincoln projects approved b City Council and not included in original budget. • Eastgate TIF — Fund 23 — This ordinance appropriates 78,900 for payments to the developer as per redevelopment agreement approve by City Council. This was not included in original budget. • DUI Court Fines — Fund 26 — Appropriates additional $12,900 received from police vehicle fees and in turn used to provide police ve icle equipment.
