De ete from first <br /> paragraph"which shall be accompanied by payme fee of fifty dollars <br /> ($50.00)" and from second paragraph, "which appl' ation shall be <br /> accompanied by the payment of a non-refundable e}camination fee of fifty <br /> dollars($50.00). <br /> Section 5: Examination changed to read as follows: "Before a license as a Heating, <br /> Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration Mechanic shal be issued to an <br /> applicant,he shall successfully pass the"Standard aster Mechanical <br /> Exam"administered by the International Code Co cil National <br /> Contractor Trades Examination Program. <br /> Section 6: Content of Examination(Mechanic); changed to re d as follows: The <br /> content of the examination is to be determined by t e International Code <br /> Council's Contractor Trades Examination program <br /> Section 8: License Fee; change annual fee to $100.00. <br /> BACKGROUND: Tests for these applicants have been prepar and administered by <br /> City Staff with assistance from Commission Members in the past. The International Code <br /> Council is the agency from whom we adopt our model codes. The have developed a <br /> standardized testing program to be used by jurisdictions to qualify contractors for <br /> licensing.
