Stewart, Transportation Planner ` (� <br /> 'J <br />' SUBJECT: Amend M-1, Conditional Use Permit at 4275 East Mou Road <br /> SUMMARY RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approv 1 of amending the M-1, <br /> Conditional Use Permit as proposed with the following condition: A ign permit shall be required <br /> for all signage by the Economic and Urban Development Department. The City Plan Commission <br /> voted 7-0 to recommend approval of this petition at the June 7, 2007 meeting; the minutes of the <br /> meeting are attached. <br /> BACKGROUND: The subject site is located at 4275 East ound Road and contains <br /> approximately 280 acres. The property is currently developed for the F rm Progress Show. <br /> The requested Conditional Use Permit (CUP) Amendment for the Fa Progress Site will allow far <br /> the construction of permanent signage at the site. In order to maintain t e usability of Progress City <br /> for current and future events, the northeast and southeast quadrants are o be left open and free from <br /> permanent signage and buildings. Permanent signage will only be 1 cated in the northwest and <br /> southwest quadrants of Progress City. In addition, only one (1) sign will be allowed per exhibit <br /> area. The maximum area per sign shall not exceed 100 square feet an the maximum height shall <br /> not exceed 30 feet. <br /> The proposed development is consistent with the goals of the original C nditional Use Permit and the <br /> Comprehensive Plan. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTION: There were no known objectors at the P an Commission Meeting. <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: None <br /> STAFF REFERENCE: Any additional questions may be forwarded t Joselyn A.
