ROW Vacation, 100 Block South Union Street
March 1, 2007
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
4. The public right-of-way does not appear necessary to serve the g eral public. Staff is of the
opinion that the best interests of the City of Decatur would be se ed by approving the right-
of-way vacation request. Staff recommends approval of the right of-way vacation.
PLAN COMMISSION ACTION
5. The Administrative Policy of the City of Decatur requires that property vacation requests be
submitted to the Plan Commission for a public hearing. Although a P1an Commission
recommendation is not required, a motion to forward the vacation r quest of Calendar Number
07-08 to the City Council with a recommendation of approval is sugg sted.
The above report constitutes the testimony and recommendation of e Planning and Economic
Development Division, Economic and Urban Development Departme t, City of Decatur.
