This is not adding <br /> new Class II Truck Routes but authorizing those already designated�for which the ordinances <br /> could not be found. This is a housekeeping issue to inform the Illinois Department of <br /> Trc�ns ortation o the Ci 's currentl aaithorized Class II Tracck Ro tes. <br /> p f <br /> ry y � <br /> Designate• <br /> 23rd Street beriveen Logan and Garfield; <br /> Hubbard Avenue between 27`h Street and IL Route 48; _ <br /> Woodford Street between Garfield and Pershing; <br /> 27`n Street between Garfield/Faries Parkway and IL Route 48; and, <br /> Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive between Garfield and Pershing. <br /> Remove: ' <br /> Warren Street between Marietta Street and Grand Avenue; <br /> Morgan Street between Condit Street and Grand Avenue; ' <br /> Clinton Street between Cond�t Street and Grand Avenue; <br /> ' Leafland Avenue between Warren Street and Clinton Street; � <br /> Condit Street between Warren Street and Clinton Street; <br /> Orchard Street between Warren Street and Martin Luther Kin , Jr. Drive; and, <br /> Marietta Street between Warren Street and Martin Luther Kin , Jr. Drive. <br /> Staff recommends that the City Council approve the attached Ordinan es designating and removing <br /> the above streets as a Class II truck routes. <br /> BACKGROUND: <br /> Public Act 94-0763, effective January 1, 2007, requires the Illinois D partment of Transportation <br /> (IDOT) to maintain a listing of all Class I, Class II, and Class III truc routes in the State, including <br /> those under the jurisdiction of municipalities. Accordingly IDOT has requested the City to provide <br /> a map of the City's marked truck routes along with the designating or inances. <br />
