A motion to forward Calendar Number 06-57 to the Cit Council with a <br /> recommendation for approval is suggested. <br /> Mr. John questioned if there was a way to find out how many othe properties in Decatur <br /> could possibly have this same issue and if some sort of new ordin ce should be taken <br /> into consideration for these homeowners. <br /> Chairman Smith suggested this issue be acted on as a case by case asis as the <br /> homeowner becomes awaze of the situation. Mr. John suggested t at staff find out <br /> exactly how many residential homeowners this involves. <br /> Mr. Smith stated at the present time staff does not have this ability and he stated within <br /> the next few months the City may have the capability to perform t e task. Mr. Livingston <br /> suggested that when staff is aware of how many homeowners this ' volves that a letter be <br /> sent to the residents. <br /> Mr. Kevin Bennett and Mrs. Donna Bennett were sworn in by Ms. esse. <br /> Mr. and Mrs. Bennett stated they were not aware of this problem til they applied to <br /> refinance their home. They were informed they were not able to re eive a loan because <br /> of the situation of the zoning. Mr. and Mrs. Bennett filed their pet'tion and asked the <br /> Commission to please approve their request. <br /> There were no objectors present. <br /> It was moved and seconded (John/Anderson) to forward Cal. o. 06-57 to the City <br /> Council with the recommendation for approval as submitted by he petitioner. Motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br />
