The site is approximately 7.15 acres and currently contains an auto salvage yard. <br /> 2. The subject property contains two parcels. In 1971, a conditional use permit was approved <br /> by the City Council to allow the operation of an auto salvage yard on the southern parcel. <br /> The permit was never amended to add the northern parcel. <br /> PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br /> 1. The requested amendment will add the northern parcel to the conditional use permit allowing <br /> the operation of an auto salvage yard on both parcels. <br /> 2. An eight (8) foot site break fence surrounding the entire salvage yard was a condition of the <br /> original conditional use permit. The amended conditional use permit will require an eight (8) <br /> foot site break fence surrounding the entire salvage yard which will include the outer <br /> boundaries of the combined parcels except the north border that abuts another salvage yard. <br />
