3 <br /> No structure shall be permitted to exceed sixty(60) feet in vertical height. In <br /> addition, no structure shall be erected, altered, or maintained, and no tree shall <br /> be permitted to grow in any regulated zone or airspace to a height in excess of <br /> the applicable height limit established by the FAR Part 77 surfaces as <br /> approved by the IDOT Division of Aeronautics. Such applicable height <br /> limitations have been heretofore established for.each of the zones in question <br /> by State and/or Federal Statute and as such are hereby incorporated by <br /> reference. <br /> 9. Signage <br /> a. Identifying signs. For the purpose of this section, an "identifying sign" is a <br /> freestanding sign that identifies and advertises the airport district as a whole. <br /> a. Number: One(1) identifying sign. <br /> b. Maximum Area: 80 square feet. ' <br /> c. Maximum Height: 15 feet. , <br /> d. Minimum Setback: 25 feet '� <br /> e. Illumination. Such sign may be illuminated but non-flashing if located a I <br /> minimum of 25 feet from any side or rear lot line of a lot used for I <br /> residential purposes. I <br /> f. Each individual building within the airport overlay ' <br /> district may have a freestanding sign or signs identifying the name, use, purpose , <br /> and/or tenants of the building, subject to the requirements below: ', <br /> a. Number per Building. One (1); however, a building located on a corner <br /> that has access drives to each street may have two (2) signs, located near <br /> or approximate to each access drive <br /> b. Maximum Area: 50 square feet <br /> c. Maximum Height: Ten(10) feet <br /> d. Minimum Setback: Ten(10) feet <br /> e. Illumination: Such sign may be illuminated but non-flashing if located a <br /> minimum of 25 feet from any side or rear lot line of a lot used for <br /> residential purposes. <br /> f. One (1) electronic message unit may be located on the Airport Terminal <br /> building sign structure and may not exceed 50 square feet in area. <br /> Wall Signs. <br /> a. Number per Main Building: No limit; provided that the aggregate square <br /> footage of all wall signs does not exceed the maximum square footage as <br /> required below. <br /> b. Maximum Area: Ten (10) percent of the facade or wall on which the <br /> sign(s) is/are attached, or one (1) square foot per linear foot of occupant <br /> frontage, whichever is larger. <br /> c. Illumination: A wall sign may be illuminated but non-flashing if located a <br /> minimum of 25 feet from any residential side or rear lot line <br /> d.
