The subject site is located at 1909 South Taylorville Road and contains approximately 0.560 acres. <br /> The site was recently annexed into the city limits on May 15, 2006. There are currently two <br /> manufacturing businesses located at the site. Malloy Barcol Overdoors of Decatur is located on the <br /> north side of the building and Wright Products is on the south side. <br /> PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br /> 2. The petitioner proposes to rezone 1909 South Taylorville Road from R-1, Single Family Residence <br /> District to M-1, Intense Commercial-Light Industrial District so that they can be in compliance with <br /> the zoning ordinance. When property is annexed to the city it automatically comes in as R-1; in order <br /> for the businesses to be allowed to continue in operation the property must be rezoned. <br />
