Based on the above analysis, staff recommends approval of the rezoning from R-1 Single Family <br /> Residence District to B-2 Commercial District. <br /> PLAN COMMISSION ACTION <br /> 1. The Plan Commission, in its advisory role to the City Council, may make a recommendation to approve <br /> the request to rezone the property from R-1 to B-2 Commercial or to recommend to the City Council that <br /> the petition be denied. <br /> 2. Section XXII.A.2. requires the Ptan Commission to hold a public hearing on a rezoning request and then <br /> forward its report and recommendation to the City Council for final approval.
