Decatur Police Department Arehitectural Space Program <br /> Chapter 1 <br /> Introduction <br /> The A�hitectural Space Program developed �this chapter is the vafidation,update,and revision of the <br /> Space Program u�itiated 'm the Facility Needs Assessment Report for the City of Decatur dated October <br /> 2003. <br /> It is the result of ineetings and work sessions wtuch reflect the present operational organization and <br /> dffection with the projected planning date of 2022. <br /> This space program is devebped us�g net square feet requirements on a room by room or area by area <br /> analysis,then muhiplying by a factor of 1.0— 1.25 to obtam a departmental gross square footage,then, <br /> muhiplying by another factor 1.0— 1.15 to obtain the final building total gross square feet. <br /> The space program also assumes no co-location or efficiency of usage with other governmental agencies, <br /> if co-located or master planned to be phased 'm the Options Analysis (Chapter 4)portion of the report, <br /> appropriate gross square feet could be reduced. <br /> PS.1 � Dewberry <br /> i.l <br />
