, , <br /> 11.MRI shall comply with all federal, state, county and municipal laws, ordinances, <br /> rules and regulations. City shall not be responsible for MRI's non-compliance <br /> with applicable laws. <br /> 12.MRI shall provide appropriate safety and protective equipment for employees <br /> working at CITY plots and planter sites. MRI's employees shall conduct <br /> themselves at all times in a safe manner. MRI employees shall at all times be <br /> appropriately dressed, in a safe, neat, and acceptable matter. <br /> 13.Possession of firearms, illegal drugs, alcoholic beverages by an employee <br /> during work hours is strictly prohibited. MRI shall promptly remove from a job <br /> site any employee found using or possessing illegal drugs or alcohol during <br /> regular working hours. <br /> 14.MRI shall provide its workers with protective clothing including outerwear and <br /> gloves, as in its sole judgment shall be necessary for their protection and <br /> safety. MRI shall also provide workers with high visibility vests which shall be <br /> worn when in MRI'S discretion work on City plots and planters brings MRI <br /> employees in close proximity to risk of harm from an adjacent roadway. <br /> 15.MRI shall be responsible for the collection, hauling, and cost of disposal of all <br /> trash, litter, and garbage bags, at an Illinois Environmental Protection Agency <br /> approved landfill. MRI shall be responsible for the collection, hauling, and cost <br /> of disposal of recyclable yard waste, including weeds, grass, trimmings, etc., at <br /> an Illinois Environmental Protection Agency approved yard refuse disposal <br /> facility. <br /> 16.The CITY may suspend this contract in the event of war, declared emergency, <br /> natural disaster or other events beyond the Parties control. <br /> 17.A CITY representative will, at unscheduled intervals each month, formally <br /> inspect the CITY plots and planters described herein, and render a report on , <br /> the general appearance and condition of maintenance. MRI shall promptly <br /> correct, at its sole expense, all conditions rated less than good on the <br /> inspection report. <br /> 18.MRI shall be liable for damages to CITY owned property resulting from <br /> negligence or poor workmanship by MRI and or its officers, agents and <br /> employees. MRI shall be required to repair or replace such damaged items to <br /> the satisfaction of the CITY. <br /> 19.MRI shall perForm its duties under this AGREEMENT with the knowledge that <br /> sidewalks and streets adjacent to the CITY plots and planters are open to the <br /> public. Work under this AGREEMENT shall be performed with a minimum <br /> amount of interFerence with the public's use of roadways and sidewalks. <br /> 20.MRI shall comply with applicable safety requirements, including federal, state <br /> and local laws. <br /> 3 <br />
