Anderson Plaza Decatur, IL 62523 Subject: Professional Engineering Proposal Building Demolition 300 Block North Water Street Project Dear Matt: In accordance with your request I am pleased to submit the following proposal to provide engineering services for preparation of demolition bid documents, the taking of bids and inspection services for the buildings on the west side of the 300 Block of N. Water Street which were not included in our March 2007 contract. PWC AGREES 1. To prepare demolition bid documents for the demolition of five buildings on the West side of North Water Street which when added to the existing PWC contract will include all buildings on the West side of the 300 Block of N. Water Street. 2. To assist the City in the taking of bids and the review of the same and make a recommendation for the Award of the Demolition Contract to the City Council. 3. To provide inspection services during the demolition of the buildings to insure compliance with the specifications and contractors progress. 4. To provide the testing services for air quality monitoring or other tests that might be required by Federal/State or Local Ordinances. 5. To maintain Professional Liability Insurance Coverage in the amount of$500,000 during the contract duration. A Certificate of Insurance will be issued to the City of Decatur. 6. To provide Workman's Compensation Insurance, General Liability Insurance and Automobile Liability Insurance in an amount of$1,000,000 with an Excess Umbrella Liability of$1,000,000.
