. , - Dunn Company provided the low bid for the proposed work. Staff recommends the City Council approve a contract with Dunn Company, to perform the Street Reconstruction project. POTENTIAL OBJECTION: There are no known objections to this resolution and bid award. BUDGET/TIME IMPLICATIONS: Funding for this project is budgeted in the General Street Capital Fund. Approximately$100,000 in funding is anticipated to be expended from the Non-Departmental Fund for damage on Westlawn Avenue resulting from the November 30 - December 1, 2006, ice storm. Approximately $65,000 is expected to be reimbursed by the Decatur Park District for pavement reconstruction work near the lake front. Additional funding may be requested for Westlawn Avenue repairs following the final damage review that will be completed following the removal of the ash pile at the Hickory Point Township yard. Work on Westlawn is included in the ice storm damage repair reimbursement request to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Actual reimbursement will be contingent upon the actual repairs made to the street. The recommended low bid amount is $762,064.75. The project should begin in late May and be completed by the end of August, 2007.
