RESOLUT�ON NO. R2007-51 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING F,XECI.TTION <br /> OF AN AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT WITH <br /> FIRST TRANSIT, INC. <br /> WHEREAS, the City and First Transit, Inc., entered into an Agreement for transit <br /> management services, effective as of July 1, 2004, with an expiration date of June 30, 2007; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Agreement specifies that "This Agreement may be extended at the sole <br /> discretion of the City for two (2) additional one (1) year terms (option years)"; and <br /> WHF_,REAS, the Agreement states that the management fee to be paid to First Transit, <br /> Inc., for services rendered in the first option year shall be $102,936; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City and First Transit, Inc., desire to extend the term of the Agreement <br /> to June 30. 2008. <br /> BE IT RF,SOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF 'THE CITY OF� DFCATUR, <br /> II.LINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the Amendment to the Agreement presented to the Council herewith <br /> between the City of Decatur and First Transit, Inc., be, and the same is hereby, received, placed <br /> on file and approved. <br /> Section 2.
