. <br /> 3. To retain the firm of Massie Massie & Associates to provide Land Planning <br /> and Landscape Architecture services for the proposed project. Said services <br /> to be as detailed in their attached Scope of Services dated February 14, <br /> 2007 <br /> 4. To prepare detailed design plans for the following improvements: <br /> A. Water Street— between North Street and North Park Street <br /> (i) Provide a plan to restore 2-way traffic to the street <br /> (ii) Prepare a new sidewalk plan with landscape areas consistent <br /> with Massie Massie schemes. Sidewalk plan to be on the West <br /> side of Water Street from North Street to East Prairie Street, all <br /> sidewalks adjacent to the Dansig project to be included in their <br /> project. <br /> (iii) To modify the existing utilities to meet the new street scape <br /> plan. <br /> (iiii) To prepare street lighting plans consistent with the Massie <br /> Massie plan and with the City of Decatur Standards for street <br /> lighting materials and bases. <br /> B. State Street—the repaving and restriping of the street in the areas <br /> outside of the limits of the Dansig project area. <br /> C. Prepare demolition bid documents for the demolition of two buildings <br /> on the West side of North Water Street (Buildings commonly known as <br /> the Samuels Miller Building and the Muerlot Building). <br /> D. To prepare a "Plaza Area" plan for a pedestrian passageway at <br /> approximately the mid block area on the West side of North Water <br /> Street. This passageway area will ultimately connect North Main <br /> Street developments to North Water Street developments for both <br /> pedestrian movements and provide a visual site connection between <br /> the two streets. <br /> E. To coordinate and attend staff meetings, Public information meetings, <br /> City Council meetings and meetings with the private developer and/or <br /> his consultants if requested. <br /> F. To complete all plan work by August 1, 2007 in order to meet a bid <br /> schedule of September 1, 2007. <br />
