POTENTIAL OBJECTION: There are no known objections to this resolution. <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: Economic and Urban Development Department <br /> Illinois Department of Transportation �� <br /> URS Corporation ! <br /> STAFF REFERENCE: Greg Crowe, Director of Economic and Urban <br /> Development, at 424-2725 <br /> Matt Newell, Acting Director of Engineering and <br /> Infrastructure, at 424-2747 <br /> Greg and Matt will be in attendance at the City Council meeting to answer any questions of the <br /> Council on this item. <br /> BUDGET/TIME IMPLICATIONS: <br /> Funding for these services will be reimbursed up to 80%with an ITEP grant administered <br /> through IDOT. The preliminary design work will be funded out of the General Capital Project <br /> Fund. The preliminary design agreement with URS is for a fee not to exceed$155,000.00, of <br /> which $124,000.00 will be reimbursed by IDOT. The City's non-reimbursed expenditure will <br /> be $31,000.00. <br /> Preliminary design work will begin immediately upon approval from the Illinois Department of <br /> Transportation which normally takes four to six weeks.
