� . . <br /> . � <br /> Staff recommends that the contract be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, Interior <br /> Specialty Construction, to perform the described improvements to Fire Station#1. <br /> Interior Specialties is a Decatur business that specializes in interior renovations and construction. <br /> They have completed work for Decatur Memorial Hospital, The Decatur Public Building <br /> Commission and Tate and Lyle. Their work has been very well received as being of high quality <br /> and they are very well qualified to perform this work at Fire Station#1. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTION: There are no known objections to this resolution <br /> and bid award. <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: None <br /> STAFF REFERENCE: Matt Sekosky, Fire Chief, at 424-2811 <br /> Matt Newell, Acting Director of Engineering & <br /> Infrastructure, at 424-2747 <br /> Matt Sekosky and Matt Newell will be in attendance at the City Council meeting to answer any <br /> questions of the Council on this item. <br /> BUDGET/TIME IMPLICATIONS: <br /> Funding for this project is budgeted in the Capital Projects Fund.
