. i ' _ i . r� 2006 AMENDMENT TO EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT This 2006 Amendment to Employment Agreement is entered into on this��day of � 2006, by and between the City of Decatur, an Illinois municipal corporation (the "City"), and Steve Garman (the "Employee"), a resident of the City of Decatur, Illinois. WHEREAS, the City and the Employee presently are parties to a certain Employment Agreement, dated September 24, 1999, together with subsequent amendments thereto (dated November 15, 1999,February 5,2001,January 21,2003,June 30,2003 and April 19,2004),which Employment Agreement,as amended,remains in full force and effect as of the date of execution of this 2006 Amendment to Employment Agreement,except as otherwise provided specifically herein. WHEREAS,the Employment Agreement,as amended,has been extended previously as to �� its term by the express provisions of said Employment Agreement; and WHEREAS, the City and the Employee wish to supplement and amend further the aforementioned Employment Agreement, as previously amended, all as set forth herein. NOW THEREFORE,in consideration ofthe mutual covenants,warranties and agreements contained herein, and other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which are hereby acknowledged, the parties hereto do hereby covenant and agree as follows: 1. The Employment Agreement,dated September 24,1999,as amended,by and between the parties hereto,shall remain in full force and effect,except as the same may be modified,amended or supplemented expressly herein. As to the matters set forth expressly herein, this 2006 Amendment to Employment Agreement shall supercede any and all conflicting provisions found elsewhere.
