2. The term of the Employment Agreement, dated September 24, 1999, as amended, <br /> shall be extended for an additional two (2)year period. <br />' 3. Section 6 of the Employment Agreement, dated September 24, 1999, as amended, <br /> provided for an annual salary figure for the Employee from the City, which amount(as set forth in <br /> the Employment Agreement, dated September 24, 1999) was in the amount of One Hundred Ten <br /> Thousand Dollars ($110,000.00), but which amount later was modified, altered and amended by <br /> amendments to said Employment Agreement, dated September 24, 1999. <br /> Prior to the Effective Date hereof, the Employee's annual salary from the City was in the <br /> amount of One Hundred Twenty-seven Thousand Three Hundred Thirty-eight Dollars($127,33 8.00) <br /> (from July 1, 2004 and thereafter). In addition to the aforementioned annual salary,the Employee <br /> received from the City a monthly automobile allowance of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) <br /> (following May 1, 2004), which monthly automobile allowance was intended to compensate and <br /> reimburse the Employee for the use of his personal automobile in the course of the City's business <br /> and was paid in lieu and substitution of any mileage expense reimbursement or other means ar <br /> methods of reimbursement. <br /> Following the Effective Date hereof, the aforementioned annual salary paid by the City to <br /> the Employee shall be equal to One Hundred Thirty-one Thousand One Hundred Fifty-eight Dollars <br /> ($131,158.00), which a.nnual amount equals a three percent (3%) increase from the annual salary ', <br /> paid by the City to the Employee prior to the Effective Date hereof. Wherever in the Employment �', <br /> Agreement,dated September 24, 1999,as amended,shall reference a salary figure,the salary figure I'� <br /> of One Hundred Thirty-one Thousand One Hundred Fifty-eight Dollars($131,158.00)shall be used <br /> following the Effective Date hereof. <br /> -2- <br />
