7. District shall be solely responsible for the cost of operating any and all flashing <br /> signs or beacons or other traffic control devices installed in accordance with this Agreement. <br /> 8. Any and all repairs required to be made to signs or pavement markings within the <br /> area bounded on the east and west by signs warning "Speed Zone Ahead" shall be made by <br /> the District within a reasonable period of time after a report of such is needed but no later <br /> than thirty (30) days. In the event that the required repairs pose a threat to the immediate <br /> safety of the public, the District shall take steps immediately to make the repairs. If the <br /> District fails to do so, the City may cause the repairs to be made and the District agrees to <br /> pay for said expense incurred by the City. <br /> 9. District shall be responsible for enforcing all traffic regulations, devices and signs <br /> as shown on the attached site plan and all violations of any of said traffic regulations, <br /> devices and signs when that violation occurs within the area bounded on the east and west <br /> by signs warning "Speed Zone Ahead". <br /> 10. District shall be responsible for responding to, investigating and reporting all <br /> traffic accidents and crashes that occur within the area bounded on the east and west by <br /> signs warning "Speed Zone Ahead". A copy of each investigation, ticket or report shall be <br /> forwarded to the Director of Engineering and Infrastructure for the City of Decatur. <br /> 11. In the event the City resurfaces the roadway as set forth in the Agreement, <br /> District shall be obligated at its sole expense to restore any and all pavement markings to the <br /> roadway. The City shall not be obligated to restore the pavement markings or other items <br /> which shall result from any resurFacing or road repairs, including any damage done by snow <br /> and ice control operations. <br /> 2 <br />
