presentation thereof in lawful money of the United States of America, or by electronic funds <br /> transfer as may be agreed by the Director of Financial Management and the Bank. The principal <br /> of the Note shall be payable in lawful money of the United States of America upon presentation <br /> thereof to the City. <br /> It is hereby expressly found and determined that the Note does not mature on a date which I <br /> is later than December 31 of the year in which the payment to the City Treasurer as provided in <br /> subsection (b) of Section 11-74.4-8 of the TIF Act is to be made with respect to ad valorem tu�es <br /> levied in the later of (a) the twenty-third calendar year in which the ordinance designating the <br /> Area was adopted or (b) such later date established in the TIF Act. <br /> The Note shall be registered in the name of and deposited with the Bank. <br /> Section S. Execution; Authentication. The Note shall be executed on behalf of the City <br /> by the manual or facsimile signature of the Mayor, and attested by the manual or facsimile <br /> signature of its City Clerk, as they may determine, and shall have impressed or imprinted thereon <br /> the corporate seal or facsimile thereof of the City. In case any such officer whose signature shall <br /> appear on the Note shall cease to be such of�cer before the delivery of the Note, such signature <br /> shall nevertheless be valid and sui�icient for all purposes, the same as if such of�cer had remained <br /> in office until delivery. The Note shall have thereon a certificate of authentication, substantially in <br /> the form hereinafter set forth, duly executed by the Note Registrar as authenticating agent of the <br /> City and showing the date of authentication. The Note shall be valid or obligatory for any <br /> purpose or be entitled to any security or benefit under this Ordinance unless and until such <br /> certificate of authentication shall have been duly executed by the Note Registrar by manual <br /> signature, and such certificate of authentication upon the Note shall be conclusive evidence that <br /> such Note has been authenticated and delivered under this Ordinance. The certificate of authenti- <br /> cation on the Note shall be deemed to have been executed by it if signed by an authorized officer <br /> of the Note Registrar. <br /> -6- <br />
