Section 6. Optional Redemption. The Note shall be subject to redemption at the option <br /> of the City, from any available funds, in whole or in part on any date and if less than all of the <br /> Note, in the amount of$10,000 and integral multiples of$1,000 in excess thereof, selected by the <br /> City as hereinafter provided, at the redemption price of par plus accrued interest to the date fixed <br /> for redemption; provided, however, that if interest is accruing at a fixed rate, the Bank may <br /> impose a "Funding Cost Recovery Charge" in the amount determined according to the Funding <br /> Cost Recovery Charge Addendum to be executed by the City, the form of such being attached <br /> hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit A. <br /> Section 7. Redemption Procedure. The City shall, at least 5 days prior to the <br /> redemption date (unless a shorter time period shall be satisfactory to the Bank), notify the Bank in <br /> writing of such redemption date and of the principal amount of Note to be redeemed. <br /> All notices of redemption shall include the name of the Note and at least the information <br /> as follows: <br /> (a) the redemption date; <br /> (b) the redemption price; <br /> (c) if less than all of the Note is to be redeemed, the principal amount of the <br /> Note to be redeemed; <br /> (d) a statement that on the redemption date the redemption price will become <br /> due and payable upon the Note or portion thereof called for redemption and that interest <br /> thereon shall cease to accrue from and after said date; and <br /> (e) the place where the Note is to be surrendered for payment of the redemption <br /> price, which place of payment shall be the principal office of the Paying Agent. <br />' Notice of redemption having been given as aforesaid, the Note or portion of the Note so <br /> to be redeemed shall, on the redemption date, become due and payable at the redemption price <br /> -7- <br />
