Such application <br /> must have endorsed upon it the approval or disapproval of the Chief of Police. Any false <br /> statements made by the applicant for a license may be promptly reported to the State's <br /> Attorney of Macon County, Illinois, by the Chief of Police; <br /> (� No applicant shall be granted a driver's license as required by this Chapter <br /> until such person shall have obtained from the State of Illinois a license for the purpose of <br /> or permitting the transporting of persons for compensation in a motor vehicle of the first <br /> division. <br /> 14. FEE FOR DRIVER'S LICENSE. The initial fee for a driver's license shall <br /> be the sum of Five Dollars ($5.00). All renewals thereof shall be Five Dollars ($5.00). All <br /> license fees shall expire on the 30th day of April each year. <br /> 15. REVOCATION OR SUSPENSION OF LICENSES. <br /> A. Driver's licenses may be revoked or suspended by the City Manager or his <br /> designee for violating any traffic ordinances of the City of Decatur, or of any of the <br /> traffic laws of the State of Illinois. Such license may also be suspended or revoked for <br /> . any conduct involving moral turpitude or for violations of any of the provisions of this <br /> Chapter. <br /> B. Livery vehicle licenses may be revoked or suspended by the City Manager or <br /> his designee for violation of any of the provisions of this Chapter either on the part of the <br /> owner of said livery vehicle or his employees. <br /> 16.
