�� � �\ <br /> , . � � � � � �� � �i � <br /> . �„ <br /> �.6'76636 ���a�� o� i��_��,��s � t�";�,>�� �,��;-,���' THAT <br /> hiACON COUPr`TY S� THIS I�dSTr^,UPirPdT V`dAS <br /> RECORDED AT �{L�� <br /> 1005 JAN 3 I A 9� 3 2 <br /> 3�.� � �� a. � <br /> ORDINANCE ,�Q. 20�4-91 �_ �RECORDER <br /> ORDINANCE VACATING RIGHT-OF-WAY <br /> - 600 BLOCK NORTH CHURCH STREET - <br /> WHEREAS, a request has been received from Decatur Public School District #61, <br /> requesting the vacation by the City Council of right-of-way in the City of Decatur, Illinois <br /> described as: <br /> A triangular parcel of land bound by the 600 block of North Church Street (20 <br /> feet) to the west, the Norfolk Southern Railroad Right-of-Way (129.5 feet) to the <br /> north and Lots 3, 4 and 5 of G.J. Parke's Resurvey (Book 335 on Page 255) <br /> (130.89 feet) to the south and east. The total approximate land area of the subject <br /> site is 1295 square feet; and, <br /> WHEREAS, said right-of-way is no longer useful to the public or to the City or to the <br /> owner of the property abutting thereon as right-of-way; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the public interest will be subserved by vacating said right-of-way and the <br /> public will be relieved from the further burden and responsibility of maintaining the same. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, �E IT QRLAINED BY THE CI'�'Y CCLJrdCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the above descnbed right-of-way be, and the same is hereby, vacated as <br /> public right-of-way inasmuch as the same is no longer required for public use-and the public <br /> interest will be subserved by such vacation, said right-of-way being shown on the plat thereof <br /> hereto attached and hereby made a part hereof. <br />
