♦I . i' 1 � ORDINANCE NO. 2004-83 ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY CODE - CHAPTER 34- - TRAFFIC - BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, I ILLINOIS: Section 1. That Sections 35 and 38 A. (ii) of Chapter 34 of the City Code of the City of Decatur, Illinois, be, and the same is hereby, modified and amended, so that said Sections as so modified and amended, sha11 provide as follows: 35. ABANDONED OR DISABLED VEHICLES. A. No person shall stand, park, leave or abandon any vehicle on the property of another without the consent of the owner of said property. B. No person shall stop, stand,park or leave a vehicle on a public street or alley for a period of time in excess of 72 hours, other than in a metered area that is being properly paid for. C. No person shall stop, stand, park or leave a vehicle in a metered parking space or in a space within an area controlled by a designated parking time limit on a street or in any municipal off-street parking facility for a period in excess of twenty-four (24) hours, except pursuant to the terms of a current, valid pennit issued by the City of Decatur, Finance Department. D. No person shall allow, permit, place or leave the following which are hereby found to be a danger to the public health, safety and welfare on a public street, alley or right-of-way: 1. a vehicle parked in an official posted tow away zone, 2. a vehicle in a place obstructing an emergency vehicle's operation,
