ADDITIONS AND�U�S <br /> CHAPTER 34 <br /> TRAFFIC <br /> 35. ABANDONED OR DISABLED VEHICLES. ' <br /> A. No person shall stand, park, leave or abandon any vehicle on the <br /> property of another without the consent of the owner of said property. <br /> B. No person shall stop, stand, park or leave a vehicle on a public street or <br /> alley for a period of time in excess of 72 hours, other than in a metered area that is <br /> bein�properlYpaid fo� <br /> C. No person shall stop, stand, park or leave a vehicle in a metered <br /> parking space or in a space within an area controlled by a designated parking time <br /> limit on a street or in any municipal off-street parking facility for a period in excess <br /> of twenty-four (24) hours, except pursuant to the terms of a current, valid permit <br /> issued by the City of Decatur,Finance Department. <br /> D. No person shall allow, pennit, place or leave the followin� which are <br /> herebv found to be a dan�er to the nublic health, safetv and welfare on a nublic <br /> street, allev or rit�ht-of-wav: <br /> 1. a vehicle parked in an official posted tow awav zone, <br /> 2. a vehicle in a,place obstructing an emer�cv vehicle's operation, <br /> 3. a vehicle in a place obstructin�either vehicle or pedestrian traffic, <br /> 4. a vehicle in a place violating emer�v snow routes. <br /> 5. a vehicle herein defined and specificallv found to be a nuisance because of the <br /> hazard created bv its condition or location to other traffic or pedestrians because <br /> of its phvsical condition or its position in relation to public right of wavs: <br /> a). a vehicle parked on a public right-of-wav covered bv a tarp or other <br /> covering which obscures reflective devices, <br /> b) a vehicle containing,�arbage, debris or hazardous materials, <br /> c) a vehicle in such a state of deterioration that itposes an ixnrnedi- <br /> ate threat to the public health, safety, and welfare, including, but <br /> not limited to a current state of disrepair from deposited harmful <br /> materials or substances upon the street includin�i but not limited to <br /> �lass, oil, transmission or brake fluids or other such substances or <br />
