On November 6, 2003 the City Plan Commission voted 5-2 to deny a rezoning of.75 acres (32,580 <br /> square feet) for a used car lot at 2778 North 22nd Street. The rezoning was reviewed by City Council <br /> on November 17, 2003 where it was tabled on a 5-2 vote. <br /> 2. It was the decision of council to give the property owner six(6) months to try to acquire additional <br /> land for his used car lot business. Since this decision, the property owner has acquired two additional <br /> lots. <br /> 3. The current proposal contains 1.81 acres (78,741 square feet).
