The proposed site for the development will be served by Decatur Transit <br /> transportatian, which will provide public bus transportation to the residents <br /> at Heritage Place at Lakeshore (1 point). , <br /> 2. The site is located 0.39 miles from Lincoln Park on Lakeshore. This facility <br /> is open to thepublic and is available to residents of the project (1 point). <br /> 3. The proposed development is located: <br /> . a. 1.3 miles from Osco Drug Store on Cantrell Street <br /> b. 0.5 miles from Kroger on South Main <br /> c. 1.2 miles from St.Mary's Hospital on Lakeshore Drive (1 point) <br /> 4. The proposed development will house its own recreational amenities <br /> promoting seniors to congregate among themselves. These recreation <br /> facilities include the library, the community room and a fitness center, many <br /> of the same amenities that you would find at a senior recreational center (1 <br /> point). <br /> 5. In addition, the following desirable amenities are within their respective <br /> distance: <br /> a. Decatur Athletic Club .91 miles <br /> b. Decatur Police Department is .65 miles which wilt serve as a sense of <br /> security for the residents <br /> c. Several restaurants and churches within a 2 mile radius (please refer <br /> to map under tab 17-1 point). <br /> ,. <br />
